Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team at Haven Behavioral Healthcare as a Behavioral Health Specialist. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay in a supportive work environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care under the guidance of experienced nursing professionals. They will be responsible for overseeing the provision of care during assigned shifts, serving as a resource to direct care staff, and coordinating incident response.

This is a night shift position, working 3-12 hour shifts per week with a focus on providing high-quality behavioral health services. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses
  • Oversight of care provision during assigned shifts
  • Serve as a resource to direct care staff
  • Coordinate on-site response to incidents and errors
  • Support the Director of Nursing with hiring, staffing, staff education, and performance improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Inpatient experience preferred

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience. All employees and contractors of Haven Behavioral Healthcare are required to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.
