Position Overview: The Collegiate Athletic Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive athletic training services, which encompass practices, competitions, clinics, and promotional events.
Qualifications: Candidates must obtain licensure from the State of Alabama within 180 days of employment and possess BCLS certification by the end of the provisional employment period.
Experience Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Essential Skills and Competencies: Exceptional communication skills are necessary, along with the capability and eagerness to engage with all patients in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
About Huntsville Hospital: Huntsville Hospital has been recognized as the Best Regional Hospital and #2 in Alabama by U.S. News & World Report. With a capacity of 971 beds, it features a specialized Orthopedic & Spine Tower, a Level III Regional Neonatal ICU, and the largest Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma Center in the state, including a dedicated Red Shirt Trauma Program.
