Job Title: Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Plastic Surgery department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients, demonstrating clinical expertise and advanced knowledge in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health problems within the specialty area of practice.
  • Collaborate and consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the area of clinical expertise.
  • Conduct comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status by taking health histories and performing physical examinations in the specialty area.
  • Provide primary prevention strategies and management of stable health problems.
  • Prescribe medications, diet, supplies, prosthetic devices, and other home health aides or medication according to clinical privileges.
  • Evaluate patients to determine their need for further healthcare.
  • Document in the medical record all care provided and/or procedures performed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • License as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of three years of PA experience in plastics.
