We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist Assistant to join our team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI suite.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany the MRI Technologist during all procedures, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Transport patients to and from the MRI department, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Verify orders with provider offices and radiologists, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Assist with scheduling, turning over the MRI suite, and ordering and stocking supplies.
- Call patients to verify screening forms and lab work needed, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Complete paperwork and other tasks as assigned, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
