PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Oversee the efficient functioning of a redemption window, ensuring accurate cash, coin, and ticket transactions for gaming patrons. Complete necessary documentation and adhere to cash reporting protocols.

KEY FUNCTIONS:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Protect assigned cash drawer and casino assets.
  • Count and verify all transactions at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Provide change and exchange tickets/cash as needed.
  • Maintain precise cage cash transmittal forms and related documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of Casino Operations information.
  • Exchange coins, tickets, and other valuables for currency.
  • Prepare and finalize all job-related paperwork, including cash count sheets, coin transfers, bank summary sheets, and over/short vouchers.
  • Complete currency transaction reports as mandated by law.
  • Uphold the integrity of video lottery equipment and secure all company assets at all times.
  • Inform the Main Bank Cashier and/or Shift Manager of any guest-related issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and guests.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a license from the appropriate authority.
  • Professional appearance and appropriate work attire.
  • Previous experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
