Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide support and care to individuals with disabilities in our Florence location. This part-time opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $19 to $22, paid biweekly, along with a range of benefits, including a hiring bonus, referral bonus, PTO, health insurance, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical and emotional support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering a sense of independence and self-esteem.
  • Transport clients to appointments and daily activities, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
  • Assist with general housekeeping and home management, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Complete and adhere to all required documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of experience providing support for individuals with disabilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of disabilities
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Compassionate, caring, and patient attitude
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a good working vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
