Bridge Engineer

Job Summary
As a Bridge Engineer at Shive-Hattery Group, Inc., you will have the opportunity to lead innovative bridge and civil structures projects in the Quad Cities area. With a strong background in structural engineering and experience working with clients, you will be responsible for designing and developing bridge and civil structures projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, and 4+ years of experience in structural engineering. A Professional Engineer license in Iowa or the ability to obtain it within 12 months is also required. Experience leading project teams and interfacing with clients is essential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including bridge and box culvert design, lake and dam spillways, retaining walls and tunnels, park structures, water and wastewater treatment plant concrete tanks, and riverfront developments.
