Position Summary:

As a Kitchen Utility Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meticulously cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen and dining equipment, including dishes, glassware, and utensils, utilizing both dishwashing machines and manual methods as required.
  • Ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of all cleaning equipment.
  • Handling and storing cleaning agents safely and responsibly.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized kitchen environment by disposing of waste, cleaning grease, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces throughout your shift.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

Candidates for the Kitchen Utility Associate position should possess six months to one year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A solid understanding of food safety practices and a positive, proactive attitude are essential. Being a team player who is willing to engage in various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations will lead to success in this role.

Applicants should be capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, stretching, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 35 lbs. from the floor to waist level, as well as maintaining a standing position for extended periods.
