Cyber Security Administrator Job Description

At Government Jobs, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information technology assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect the county from cyber intrusions and exfiltration of data
  • Serve as the primary advisor on information security issues
  • Foster the development of new protective technologies and policies
  • Provide guidance on planning, coordinating, implementing, updating, and communicating a proactive security program
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a Continuity Of Operations Plan (COOP) and a Disaster Recovery Plan

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of information systems security concepts and techniques
  • Ability to analyze and mitigate security risks
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Experience with security technologies and tools
