Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Mammography to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform breast imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, and implement safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Analyze images and identify issues with image quality, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of technologist experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with minimal supervision. You will be exposed to various hazards, including biological and chemical agents, and will need to take necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
