About the Job

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgical team, including preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with the anesthesiologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of experience in an operating room setting as a Surgical Technician or Surgical Technician training
  • Certification or eligibility for certification preferred
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
