Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Cone Health, a leading healthcare system in North Carolina, is seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team. As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Cone Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established group of surgeons and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Highlights:
- Join a hospital-employed practice with a full range of Cardiothoracic Surgical Services
- Work with a team of five ABTS-certified surgeons and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Opportunity to perform complex cardiac and thoracic procedures, including valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive surgery, TAVR, and LVAD program
- State-of-the-art operating rooms, including three dedicated cardiac rooms and a hybrid operating room with full cardiac capabilities
- Participate in a multidisciplinary thoracic oncology program in our cancer center
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon with an unrestricted NC medical license and DEA
- Excellent bedside manner and commitment to providing patient-focused care
- Ability to perform both cardiac and thoracic procedures
