EVS Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EVS Technician to join our team at LifePoint Health. As an EVS Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

• Clean and sanitize the physical environment in the assigned area, meeting performance standards set up for the position under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor.
• Clean and maintain assigned area, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
• Prepare hospital rooms for new admissions, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility in performance of tasks, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance problems and supply needs, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
• Report to the Environmental Services Director, providing regular updates and insights on area performance.

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred
• Required Skills:
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Prior work experience desirable.
  • Ability to stand eight hours daily, kneel, reach easily, climb stairs and ladders, and willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis, despite frequent interruptions.
