Join the ST2 ManTech Advanced Systems Intl Team
We are seeking a Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Support Specialist to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in TCP/IP, system administration, and network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Security Operations Center (SOC) team with both operational and technical engineering tasks.
- Oversee and troubleshoot HBSS client systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and verify system compatibility.
- Collaborate across various security environments.
- Comply with security protocols and enforce security measures.
- Monitor HBSS client performance and suggest security enhancements.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
- DoD IAT Level III certification to be obtained within 6 months.
- Familiarity with defense-in-depth strategies and malware threats.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in Computer Network Defense.
- Knowledge of network threats and attack methodologies.
- Understanding of SIEM platforms and network forensics.
- Proficiency in security tools, including Anti-Virus and HIPS/HBSS.
Clearance Requirement:
- Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for over 50% of the time.
- Effective communication and information exchange skills.
- Capability to operate a computer and engage with colleagues and clients.
- Occasional mobility within the office environment.
