Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Proactively monitor credit quality of project finance, renewables, and sustainable infrastructure portfolio, identifying potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Due Diligence: Assess project-level due diligence, including technical, environmental, legal, and market studies, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the project finance, renewables, and sustainable infrastructure sector, providing value-added advice and assistance to drive business growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop best-in-class experience and outcomes for our teams and employees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Credit Review: Assist frontline US and Commercial Banking relationship managers and HSBC Infrastructure Finance deal teams with proper credit review and submissions to relevant risk stewards and stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze credit requests and conduct financial modeling to ensure accurate and informed decision-making.
  • Operational Risk Management: Adhere to HSBC policies, procedures, and control requirements, identifying and mitigating operational risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of infrastructure, sustainable infrastructure, renewables, and project finance, including technical, environmental, legal, and market studies.
  • Financial Analysis: Strong financial and credit analysis skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
