Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is a newly founded team-based physician-led health and wellness clinic in Wyoming.

To ensure this mission is met, we focus on integrating highly effective technology, encouraging collaboration among the team, and taking lower patient volumes to allow patients more time with our staff.

Obtains blood specimens and collects nonblood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing.

Processes specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing.

Resolves ambiguous and/or unusual test orders by contacting the physician of the order, pathologist, nursing station, or reference laboratory.

Attends regular department staff meetings and in-service training.

Maintains compliance with laboratory and hospital policies and procedures, and safety practices.

Keeps the work area neat and clean and restocks daily supplies.

Adheres to department policies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must satisfactorily complete the on-the-job training provided by the Phlebotomy/Accession Lab Supervisor during a probationary period.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and certification for CPR preferred.
  • Requires the ability to work designated shift lengths (including 8 and 12 hours).

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing, bending and moving.
