About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in improving respiratory health outcomes. Your responsibilities will include assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Monitor patients' respiratory status, vital signs, and response to therapy, adjusting treatment as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • CRT and RRT certifications.
  • BLS certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required).
  • Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
