  • Team Leadership

    • Coordinate the workload of the mechanical team to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee the completion of projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
    • Develop and prepare contract documents and specifications for complex building systems.
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients as a key contact.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical guidance and support to the office on various HVAC systems.
    • Develop and complete calculations for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
  • Specifications and Code Compliance
    • Write specifications and ensure coordination with other disciplines.
    • Work with code officials and design professionals to interpret and apply building codes.
  • Construction Support
    • Review shop drawings and answer questions during construction.
  • Analysis and Research
    • Conduct system analysis and comparisons for economical and functional considerations.
    • Produce due diligence and feasibility studies for clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical focus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the HVAC design field.
  • PE registration required.
  • CAD required; Revit preferred.
  • Understanding of applicable building codes and LEED requirements.
