Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Tech to join our team at Rex NCHV Capital Heart in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  1. Operate sonographic equipment effectively and evaluate echocardiograms to acquire diagnostic information.
  2. Shift workload to meet patient needs and use independent judgment to acquire optimal echocardiogram information.
  3. Follow established departmental procedures and work efficiently in emergency situations.
  4. Interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to their age-specific needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field preferred within 3 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification within one year of hire.
  • No experience required, but preference given to candidates with one year of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Tech.

Compensation

Salary range: $27.89 - $40.09 per hour
