Blower Assembly Technician

Job Overview
Morrison Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Blower Assembly Technician to join our team at our Mesquite, TX manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment and machinery to produce blower housing parts, performing assembly and pack operations on housing assemblies.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for working from blueprints, customer specifications, and production schedules to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Operate and change-over machinery and equipment such as shears, riveting equipment, automated housing assembly equipment, piercing machines, and handling equipment.
• Assemble housings, including inserting shafts, wheels into housings, and inserting and fastening cutoffs per customer specifications.
• Insert rivnuts into housing sides as required.
• Pack housing assemblies onto pallets.
• Add or update MP 245 tags on containers.
• Check parts and materials for visual defects and conformance to specifications and notify supervision of out-of-tolerance conditions.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
