Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver to join our team in Hanover Township, PA. As a regional driver, you will have the opportunity to enjoy quality home time with family and friends while being home through the week and/or on weekends or a combination of both.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a 53-foot dry van or reefer truck within a designated region, including CT, MA, ME, RI, MD, VA, NY, and NJ (including 5 boroughs)
  • Transport freight, including manual and electric pallet jack, and Ryder will train you on all equipment
  • Meet safety and productivity standards, including adherence to hours of service regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders

Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, and DOT physical
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
