We are currently seeking a Turf Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional mechanical skills, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repair. This role is full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift. Compensation is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure equipment according to manufacturer and client specifications.
  • Install required components, verify fluid levels, and conduct tests to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate and assess equipment to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize all service and repair tools safely and effectively, including hoists, welders, diagnostic equipment, pressure washers, compressors, and power tools.
  • Safely operate a forklift as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to fulfill customer requirements.
  • While MTI provides specialized tools for our products, the successful candidate is expected to supply their own hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • A technical degree (2-year) or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing issues with gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, parts lookup tools, and diagnostic software.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
