Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow, preparing patients for visits and providing necessary services and education as determined by our physicians.
  • Perform administrative duties, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information, including electronic health records.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment, reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, demonstrating empathy and respect.
  • Collect and monitor patient data, reporting findings and needs as directed.
  • Document patient care and services provided, adhering to documentation guidelines and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
  • One of the following certifications required within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a variable schedule, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility to meet the needs of the team.
