We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pet Care Associate to join our team at Destination Pet LLC in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our resort services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will have the chance to interact with pet owners and their furry friends, ensuring they receive top-notch care and attention during their stay with us.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival and ensuring they have all necessary information and forms.
  • Assisting with check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments and completing paperwork.
  • Touring potential clients through our facilities, highlighting the amenities and services we offer.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

In addition to your exceptional customer service skills, you will also need to possess basic math skills, as you will be handling cash and credit transactions. If you are a team player who is passionate about delivering outstanding service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing role or retail sales environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Basic math skills, with accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds, as well as work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
