Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at River City Heavy Haul. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance repairs, replacing or rotating tires, completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on diesel engines. Engine and brake work, as well as trailer repairs, are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex engine and electrical system issues
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and vehicle maintenance history

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
