Position Overview:
As a key player in the healthcare education domain, this role is pivotal in shaping the knowledge and skills of nursing staff across various acute care units.

The Nurse Education Specialist is responsible for the development, execution, and assessment of educational initiatives aimed at enhancing staff competencies and addressing the learning requirements of patients and their families.

This position ensures that all educational programs align with the established standards and regulations set forth by relevant licensing and accrediting entities.

Additionally, the role involves coordinating orientation and clinical training for new staff and students, as well as overseeing the tracking of educational and safety programs organization-wide.


Clinical Responsibilities:


The Clinical Nursing Instructor will provide direct patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Maintaining a high standard of professional nursing, this role involves meaningful interactions with patients and their families, ensuring quality care delivery to diverse patient populations, including Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.


Qualifications:

Required:
Current RN License or other applicable health-related licensure as needed for the position.

Associate degree in nursing or a related health field.

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related health field is preferred.
2-5 years of experience in adult education is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
Experience as an instructor for Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred.
2-5 years of experience in the specialty area is preferred.
