Research Focus:
Our laboratory is engaged in various promising research avenues related to tumor immunology, immunotherapy, and the molecular characterization of cancer cell biology. The primary aim is to explore therapeutic strategies for targeting cancer effectively.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or M.D. in cancer biology, molecular/cell biology, or a related biomedical science field. Candidates should demonstrate self-motivation, the ability to design and execute experiments, and proficiency in preparing and presenting scientific findings.
Essential Skills:
Research expertise should include, but is not limited to, cell and molecular biology techniques and immunological assays. Experience in tumor immunology/immunotherapy, particularly with live animal models or mouse models relevant to breast cancer, is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement complex research studies and protocols.
- Engage in discovery projects and coordinate research activities.
- Lead and manage projects while overseeing data organization, synthesis, and analysis.
- Prepare scientific reports and manuscripts based on research outcomes.
- Collaborate with the principal investigator and research team to evaluate data validity and develop methodologies.
- Maintain laboratory supplies and manage vendor negotiations.
- Potentially supervise laboratory personnel, providing training and daily direction.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Candidates should have a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and statistics, along with strong documentation and data management skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D. in a scientific discipline or M.D.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
