Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver ready mix concrete to customers in a timely and safe manner, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Operate a commercial vehicle with a multi-speed transmission, navigating through various road conditions.
  • Work closely with dispatch to optimize routes and ensure efficient delivery of concrete.
  • Assemble and operate concrete chutes during pours, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of concrete.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including vehicle inspection reports and customer interactions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B.
  • Proficient reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with a multi-speed transmission.
  • Good driving record and valid medical card.
  • Concrete knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Mechanical background or skills preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday. You must be able to drive a maximum of eleven hours per day and work up to 14 hours per day as regulated by the Department of Transportation.
