Position Overview


The Safety and Security Specialist is tasked with upholding the security protocols and guidelines of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, ensuring adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the premises.
  • Participate in Emergency Response as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Address and follow up on guest inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain precise control over keys.
  • Perform bag inspections as required.
  • Implement lost and found procedures effectively.
  • Oversee the monitoring of safety and security surveillance systems.

The Safety and Security Specialist will report directly to the Director of Security.


Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable role, ideally within a luxury environment.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Exhibit a friendly, approachable, and helpful demeanor.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Work in a safe, careful, and organized manner.
