About the Role

Riverbend Community Mental Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outreach Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our Children's Program, you will provide community-based support services to children and families, working collaboratively with a talented clinical team to help families and children meet their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide community-based services to children and their families, including symptom management and support services.
  • Work with the treatment team to facilitate case coordination and information sharing.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of client treatment goals.
  • Collect, manage, and record data related to client services.
  • Complete RENEW training to understand the wraparound process for youth with behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with area agencies for summer programming with clients.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, human services, rehabilitation, or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Enthusiasm about sports and/or other indoor/outdoor youth-related activities.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including four weekdays and one weekend day.
