Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, and seat them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reservations and Waitlists: Manage reservations and waitlists, and communicate with guests regarding wait times and availability.
  • Menu Management: Ensure that menus are clean and organized, and that guests have access to all menu options.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and other staff members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Restroom and Host Stand Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restrooms and host stand.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal communication skills, and be able to interact with guests, servers, and other staff members in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills, and be able to use our point-of-sale system to manage reservations and waitlists.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess a high level of attention to detail, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work effectively as part of a team, and be willing to assist other staff members as needed.
Work Environment

This is an hourly paid position, and days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. Our restaurant operates seven days a week, and hours start as early as 9 AM and can go as late as 11 PM depending on the work required.
