About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at Turtle and Hughes, one of the nation's largest independent electrical and industrial distributors. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for driving a 26' box truck within the Philadelphia geographic area and surrounding regions, ensuring the safety of self and others while driving.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, executing local deliveries, and obtaining authorization signatures.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading cargo
  • Executing local deliveries and obtaining authorization signatures
  • Ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse
  • Maintaining all equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Operating equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards
  • Assisting in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensuring proper stock rotation. Performing aisle assessments and assignments.
Requirements:
  • A valid DOT card
  • Minimum 1 Year Driving Experience
  • Valid Driver's License with no driving violations in past 3 years
  • Ability to climb and lift minimum 50lbs with proper support and safety
