We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CRM Residential. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and reliability of our residents' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing leaky faucets.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs such as drywall patching, painting, and carpentry work.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the property's grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and cleaning of common areas.
  • Tenant Support: Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance issues.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
  • Special Projects: Assist with major repairs or renovations as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent education required. 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position.
  • Experience: 2 years of maintenance experience required.
  • Skills: Previous experience in commercial or multi-unit residential property is desirable. Experience level may vary due to the special needs of the property.
  • Communication: The position requires effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Maintains current license/certificate and/or specialized skills in at least one (or more) of the following building trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection, or mechanical.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability: Must live within 20 miles (30 minutes) from the property. Must be available to be on-call 24/7.
  • Physical Demands: Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees at times. Ability to lift 55 pounds independently and support team lift with reasonable accommodations.
