Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Technician to perform the installation, programming, integration, and maintenance of traffic components, including detection systems, traffic signals, edge-computing technology, emergency vehicle preemption, transit signal priority, adaptive traffic signal control, communications networks, and transportation safety solutions.

This role involves troubleshooting and repairing wiring problems in the street, as well as replacing conductors in conduit and testing and splicing loop detectors.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in ORANGE, SEMINOLE, OSCEOLA Counties hardware and installation specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in installing, programming, integrating, and maintaining traffic components.
  • Knowledge of edge-computing technology, emergency vehicle preemption, transit signal priority, adaptive traffic signal control, communications networks, and transportation safety solutions.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair wiring problems in the street and replace conductors in conduit.
  • Familiarity with ORANGE, SEMINOLE, OSCEOLA Counties hardware and installation specifications.
