Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at TDW Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on metal components and assemblies according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to accurately complete welding tasks.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications; conduct tests to ensure welds meet required standards.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, including setting up machines, changing electrodes, and ensuring proper functioning.
  • Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces; handle and store materials safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment; report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Work closely with others to ensure timely completion of projects and resolve any welding-related issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and one (1) year of MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Welding certification(s) from an accredited institution or organization preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent precision and accuracy in welding tasks including a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
