Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support and care to residents with multiple disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Transport and supervise residents as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, problems, and needs of residents.
- Ensure residents' personal hygiene and grooming needs are met, using appropriate body mechanics to lift, move, and position them.
- Conduct regular inspections of the home to ensure a safe and clutter-free environment.
- Participate in evacuation drills and emergency preparedness training.
- Clean and sanitize living areas, kitchen, and bathrooms, adhering to Personal Care Home guidelines.
- Prepare meals and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining confidentiality and upholding residents' rights.
- Support and advocate for residents, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call duties.
