Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will:
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists to conduct psychiatric assessments and manage psychotropic medications for pediatric patients.
  • Provide both initial evaluations and ongoing care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Recommend a variety of treatment interventions, including both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic options.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:
  • Experience in pediatric psychiatric care, particularly with children and adolescents.
  • Ability to conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Skills in formulating and documenting multidisciplinary treatment strategies.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to patient care.
  • A passion for improving the mental health of young individuals.
Qualifications

Applicants should have:
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Advanced Practice RN/Nurse Practitioner license in Montana, along with current prescriptive authority.
  • Preferred experience of at least two years in pediatric psychiatric settings.
  • A valid Montana Driver's License.
