Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Trinity Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Medical Imaging team. We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to the examination requested.
Evaluate requests for appropriateness and refer concerns to the coordinator and/or radiologist.
Instruct patients as to the nature of the exam being performed and effectively communicate with them throughout the exam.
Follow established scan protocols or radiologist's special instructions and demonstrate appropriate use of equipment and accessories.
Select appropriate technical factors for the requested imaging exam and assist in the instruction of student technologists and new personnel.
Demonstrate accurate positioning and ensure patient comfort, proper screening procedures for contraindications to MRI examination, and ensure proper magnetic field safety at all times.

Requirements:

AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
1 year of CT and/or MRI experience.
Current ARRT registration and NYS license required.
