Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver products to customers
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks and report any safety issues or repairs required
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A and meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
