ENGINEERING ROLE LEVELS
This engineering position can be filled at various levels: Entry-level, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer. Below are the minimum qualifications and salary ranges for each level:
Entry Level - $72K - $82K
Mid Level - $88,200 - $108,000
Senior Level - $115,200 - $141,000

These ranges are annual figures based on experience and include a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses bonuses and 401(k) contributions.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations, while serving as a resource and technical authority for engineering teams.

You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions.

Applicants should possess a strong understanding of their functional discipline and its practical applications, along with detailed knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Provide specialized technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.

2. Offer technical guidance and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.

3. Assume engineering and technical leadership responsibilities for both short-term and long-term initiatives that affect site operations.
4. Execute engineering tasks as assigned by supervisors, applying established engineering principles.

5. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.

6. Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.

7. Recommend equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material deficiencies, or comply with evolving codes or regulations.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Entry Level E01 Engineer – New Graduate
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of Nuclear or related engineering experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer Registration
Advanced technical degree or related coursework
