Job Title: Senior IT Portfolio Manager

Humana is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning IT portfolio and demand with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the business portfolio team to develop and implement IT portfolio strategies.
  • Lead moderately complex to complex issues, analyzing situations or data to evaluate variable factors.
  • Work with IT Leadership, Technology Business Management team, and IT Productivity team to deliver and align IT cost allocations.
  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to report program, initiative, and project status to senior and executive management.
  • Define, build, and lead cross-functional programs to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues within ServiceNow and Apptio environments.
  • Drive and influence IT Productivity strategy, proactively identifying problems, aligning on priorities, and setting direction for broad cross-functional areas.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Program/Project and Portfolio management.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT financial management, budget planning, and budget development of IT Programs/Projects.
  • 5+ years of experience producing analysis, metrics, measurements, and trend reports with various tools.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall, and extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps, and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
  • 5+ years of experience coaching and mentoring teams on project management practices, including Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall.
  • 8+ years of experience in communication and working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  • 5+ years of experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, with demonstrated critical thinking and thought leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience and full competence with Office productivity software, Project management software, Reporting tools, Service Now, Apptio, Agile Certifications, and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working directly with senior leadership.
  • Related Certifications, such as Six Sigma.
  • ServiceNow Certifications.
