Fiberglass Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Fabricator to join our team at MFG Construction & Water Products. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing open molded fiberglass parts, laminating and finishing parts, and preparing them for shipment.

• Work with teammates to roll out chopped strand and/or resin-soaked mat onto molds.
• Roll material in the proper manner to minimize air in the laminate.
• Identify and wet trim parts as necessary.
• Collaborate with teammates to sand and finish parts.
• Clean and maintain work tools, such as rollers and brushes.
• Clean and maintain safety equipment, including respirators and aprons.
• Cut, trim, sand, and drill fiberglass products to fit design.
• Packaging parts as needed.
• Clean work areas at the end of the workday.
• Work safely and follow all safety rules.
• Accurately complete labor ticket at the end of the shift.

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous fiberglass experience a plus.
• Previous experience operating electric and air hand tools.

• Light to medium physical requirements, including pushing/pulling, bending/stretching, and standing. Lifting 50 lbs. multiple times.
• Able to follow directions from Team Leaders.
• Able to work with others as a team.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must have general knowledge of blueprints.
• Able to stand for 8 hours or more a day.
