As a skilled Application Engineer for Cloud Platforms, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Your expertise in containerization technologies, Kubernetes orchestration, and Azure cloud services will enable you to build scalable, resilient, and containerized applications within the AKS platform.

About the Job:
  • You will architect cloud-native applications leveraging AKS for containerized deployments.
  • You will write clean, maintainable code for microservices using languages like .NET, Java, Python, Go, etc.
  • You will integrate with other Azure services like Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure.Functions, and Azure API Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will set up automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • You will implement continuous monitoring and alerting to identify potential issues in production.
  • You will analyze application performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.
  • You will debug issues within Kubernetes deployments and troubleshoot network connectivity.

Requirements:
  • You should have proficiency in at least one programming language like C#, Java, Python, Go.
  • You should have strong understanding of Docker and container orchestration principles.
  • You should have extensive knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, ingress controllers).
  • You should be familiar with Azure services like Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Azure Monitor.
  • You should have experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or similar tools for automated deployments.
  • You should have understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation strategies.

Estimated Salary: $58.75 per hour
