The Production Team Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics area. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for training and supporting team members, providing expertise on operational aspects, and stepping in to assist with processes in case of absence.

  • Operate production line machinery following standardized work instructions
  • Cross-train in all processes and train team members in logistical methods
  • Ensure continuous process flow in the absence of team members
  • Observe operator techniques and ensure adherence to standardized work
  • Coach development of operators through continuous improvement
  • Set up job rotation according to supervisor's guidelines
  • Initiate Stop-Call-Wait to prevent flow out
  • Contact supervisor for troubleshooting
  • Suggest ideas for continuous improvement
  • Conduct visual inspection to ensure quality standards
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean according to 5Ss standards
  • Operate within safety standards
  • Create standard work instructions and route instructions
  • Complete time studies and ergonomic evaluations
  • Train new team members
  • Assign work to team members
  • Perform duties of SV when necessary
  • Track downtime and maintain quality
  • Maintain charts and graphs
  • Other duties as assigned
