Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to serve as a Congressional Aide in the House of Representatives. The Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program (G&G CAP) was established to create employment opportunities for Veterans, Gold Star families, and Active-Duty spouses within the U.S. House of Representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a constituent services representative, helping local constituents resolve issues with federal agencies.
  • Serve as liaison to local Veterans Service Organizations.
  • Attend local events and meetings on behalf of the Member of Congress.
  • Perform legislative work, including researching and analyzing policy issues.
Requirements
  • Be a Veteran, Gold Star family member, or Active-Duty spouse.
  • Meet specific requirements for the type of family member they are in relation to a veteran or service member.
  • Have a high school diploma and excellent communication skills.
