Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Conduct research on tax-related issues and provide strategic recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax planning and compliance.
- Generate tax projections and estimates.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members.
- Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- CPA certification or in the process of obtaining it.
- A minimum of 5 years of tax experience at the managerial level.
- Strong technical proficiency in tax preparation and research.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with tax software such as CCH ProSystem fx or UltraTax is advantageous.
