Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  • Conduct research on tax-related issues and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax planning and compliance.
  • Generate tax projections and estimates.
  • Cultivate and manage client relationships.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and industry developments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification or in the process of obtaining it.
  • A minimum of 5 years of tax experience at the managerial level.
  • Strong technical proficiency in tax preparation and research.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with tax software such as CCH ProSystem fx or UltraTax is advantageous.
