As a Respiratory Care Practitioner I, you will play a critical role in our team's efforts to provide top-notch care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, and maintenance and operation of mechanical ventilators
* Administer aerosolized medications for the treatment of pulmonary disease and medical gas administration
* Access medications from the medication storage unit and nurse servers in the patient care areas
* Perform other related duties as assigned or requested in a professional manner

Qualifications:

* Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required, ACLS, PALS

Preferred Qualifications:

* Two-year degree
* Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
* Five years of experience in direct and indirect respiratory care services, including the administration of pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician and surgeon
