Helicopter Pilot

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments related to the conveyance of patients in need of emergency services.

• Plan and execute flight assignments, ensuring the safe transportation of patients and medical personnel.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and all necessary safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with medical personnel, air traffic control, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless flight operations.
• Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge as a Helicopter Pilot.

• Valid commercial pilot's license with an instrument rating.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
