Commodity Procurement Strategist

Specializing in commodity procurement strategies, our ideal candidate will implement cost-efficient supply chain solutions for the Power & Energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commodity strategies to ensure a long-term supply of materials.
- Collaborate with internal customers to ensure seamless procurement processes and high-quality supplier relationships.
- Analyze and discuss technical specifications with sales management or technical project managers.
- Identify and evaluate regional or global suppliers for assigned commodities, semi-products, and services.
- Provide supplier information to project teams and conduct project-specific supplier evaluations.
- Implement and maintain compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or as a buyer with a focus on supplier management.
- Extensive experience in the Power & Energy industry.
- Proficiency in SAP for procurement processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in identifying and analyzing regional or global suppliers.
- Knowledge of procurement guidelines, IT systems, and global procurement methods.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
