Business Support Specialist

Overview:

The Business Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional assistance to clients, including contract personnel, corporate partners, program offices, and alternative delivery teams. This position is customer-oriented, focusing on facilitating client interactions, resolving issues, and overseeing general office operations through various communication channels such as phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding:
    • Ensure that all client pre-employment requirements, documentation, policies, and onboarding materials are current and validated in collaboration with Compliance departments.
    • Oversee the management of client onboarding packets, including authorization forms, drug testing, background checks, and update the Candidate Tracker with contractor information until clearance is achieved.
  • Contractor Onboarding:
    • Deliver outstanding customer service to guarantee a positive candidate experience.
    • Monitor and respond to onboarding triggers, ensuring the precise and timely entry of candidate data and compliance documents.
    • Document and communicate all interactions with candidates and contractors promptly.
    • Coordinate contractor orientations, I-9 forms, and other onboarding necessities at the local office.
    • Assist in contractor training and certification processes.
    • Manage background checks, drug testing, and medical evaluations for contractors.
    • Ensure contractor adherence to essential E-Verify requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Aptitude for resolving complex challenges and formulating practical solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Effective time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with internal partners at both local and corporate levels.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service-related roles.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in customer service.
